The real difference
Permanent lighting should not look
temporary.
A lot of permanent lighting is sold like a shortcut for Christmas lights. Bright dots. Visible track. Harsh colors. A roofline that looks exciting for December and a little out of place the rest of the year.
That is not how we approach it. The system should be clean during the day, elegant at night, and flexible enough to become festive only when you want it to. The goal is not to make your home look like a light show every evening. The goal is control.
How we design it
Warm white first.
Color second.
The best permanent lighting systems do not start with the wildest color effect. They start with the way your home should look on a normal Tuesday night. Warm white, clean lines, soft architectural glow, and lighting that feels like it belongs on the house.
Then we build in the fun. Fourth of July. Ohio State. Christmas. Halloween. Birthdays. Backyard nights. With the right system and layout, your home can move from quiet and elegant to bold and colorful without changing anything physically.
Locally owned by Zach Everett in Lima, Ohio. We install permanent lighting as part of a complete exterior lighting strategy, not as a gadget stuck to the roofline.

How it works
A permanent system starts with a real design.
We look at your roofline, architecture, power access, app control, and the way you actually want to use the lighting before we recommend a system.
Consultation
We talk through what you want the system to do. Everyday lighting, Christmas, game day, color scenes, architectural glow, or a mix of everything.
System design
We determine the right product style, layout, zones, control strategy, and power plan. The goal is a clean system that looks intentional on your specific home.
Installation
Our team installs the lighting, manages wiring and controls, tests every zone, and keeps the installation as clean and discreet as possible during the day.
Scene setup
We help set up the app, create starter scenes, and show you how to adjust colors, brightness, schedules, and effects without making it complicated.

System options
Roofline. Downlighting. Pergolas.
Color that fits the space.
Permanent lighting is not one product with one look. Some homes need a classic roofline. Some need a downwashing system that spreads color across the face of the home. Some need pergola lighting, patio lighting, or RGBW landscape accents.
This is where professional installation matters.
DIY kits can create a fun effect, but they rarely create a clean architectural result. Track placement, controller location, power planning, wire routing, brightness, spacing, and daytime visibility all affect whether the finished system feels premium.

What permanent lighting costs in Northwest Ohio
Permanent lighting is custom priced based on roofline footage, product type, controller needs, power access, and whether we are integrating landscape or patio lighting.
Typical first phase: front roofline or primary elevation
Every quote is built around your home, not a generic package. We can often phase permanent lighting so the most visible areas are completed first.
Multi-story homes, large rooflines, back patio elevations, additional controllers, and full perimeter systems are typically quoted as larger custom projects.
RGBW landscape lighting, pergola lighting, downlighting systems, and commercial installations are designed around the property and quoted after a walkthrough.
Permanent lighting is not the cheapest way to decorate for Christmas. It is the cleanest way to add year-round control, curb appeal, and seasonal flexibility without reinstalling lights every year. If your only goal is one month of Christmas lights, our professional Christmas lighting service may be a better fit.

What clients notice
The best systems feel like they belong there.
Permanent lighting should make your home more flexible without making it feel less refined.
“The lighting completely changed the look of the house. We use the warm white setting most nights, then switch to colors when we want something fun. It feels like it was designed into the home from the start.”
“Great communication, very professional work, and the finished product looks fantastic. The system is easy to use and the install looks clean.”
“They helped us think through the whole exterior, not just the roofline. That made a big difference in how the lighting looks at night.”
“The color options are fun, but the warm white is what surprised us. It makes the house look finished every evening.”

Is permanent lighting the same as permanent Christmas lights?
It can be used for Christmas, but that is only one part of it. We think of it as year-round architectural lighting with color capability. The best systems look clean and subtle most nights, then become festive for holidays and events.
Will the system be visible during the day?
Some hardware is always part of a permanent system, but a professional installation should reduce daytime visibility as much as possible. Product selection, track color, placement, and wire routing all matter.
Can I control the lights from my phone?
Yes. Permanent lighting systems are controlled through an app where you can adjust colors, brightness, schedules, patterns, and saved scenes. We help set up starter scenes after installation.
Can permanent lighting look like normal warm white lighting?
Yes, and that is one of the most important parts of the design. We prioritize warm white scenes because that is what makes the system feel useful every night, not just during holidays.
Is this better than hiring Christmas light installers every year?
It depends on what you want. If you only want traditional Christmas lights for one season, our full-service Christmas lighting may be better. If you want year-round control, colors, and architectural lighting, permanent lighting makes more sense.
